![]() to loose a whole group experienced heroes its totally the players fault. ![]() I've never won a i/i game in xcom, but begun to faceroll darkest dungeon after 15 hours (with a fresh start).įor beginners i would even say dd is the better game because it does a better job to tell the player whats going on, its a bit slimmer in tactical options and the game mechanics are 100% reliable (not like xcom)īut like every (good) strategy game a will to learn and a bit pacience is neededĪnd to be honest, when you play dd properly its not a lot of grinding. after this point you will only get in trouble when the rng screws you. but because the options are pretty limited its not so hard to "learn" the game. you have to find out what are good skills and what combinations work well and what the enemies do and find out the best kill order. Whats true, the game has a steep learning curve (like xcom). ![]() Thats just whining from bad players which never played a strategy game before and jumped on the hype train the game got. If you havn't played an turn based stratagy game before,DD might turn you off. Originally posted by Ace the dark wolf:DD is(from what have heard)incredibly insanely inpossibly hard. ![]()
